Dog treats of course

Ear Cleaner

Rice Pudding

1 2/3 cups Long grain white rice (not instant)

3 cups water

1 t salt

4 beaten eggs

1 quart goats milk

3 t honey

Add water, rice and salt to pot, and cook over medium high stirring to prevent rice from sticking.  When boils stir continuously approximately 6-7 minutes or until thick

In a separate bowl add beaten eggs, goats milk....

when the rice is thick but 4-5 large tablespoons into the egg mixture.  When that mixture becomes warm from the heated rice pour that into the pot with the remainder of the rice mix and bring to boil again.  Add honey, stir, cover, remove from heat and let cool a few hours

lasts a few days.

Great for putting weight on a bitch and weaning puppies.

Frosty Paws

16 oz plain or vanilla yogurt
1 mashed banana
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon honey

Mix all ingredients together and freeze into individual servings (I use either an ice cube tray, muffin tin, or even bathroom sized Dixie Cups.)

K-9 Cake

1 cup white or whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup cooking oil

1 cup shredded carrots

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup honey (optional)

1 egg

Mix the dry ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients and mix quickly. Bake in a greased ring mold at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may frost this cake with .........low fat cottage cheese and decorate with some carrot pieces. Store in refridgerator. (Dogs will eat these without honey added.)

Peanut Butter Puppy Cookies

2 cups whole-wheat flour

1 tbsp. baking powder

1 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)

1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375'F. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk, then add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Bake for 20 minutes on a greased baking sheet until lightly brown. Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container. --- This is the original recipe, but I have found the cookies burn easily, so keep an eye on them, they usually take less time, depending upon your oven.

    Liver Brownies

1lb of raw liver

1c whole wheat flour

1c corn meal

emulsify liver in a blender add corn meal and flour bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until cooked.  Let cool.  The pups love these and they are great for dog shows because they are not slimy in your pocket.

Dice a heart very small, spread it on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake at low heat until dry .. a few hours
