Milbrose is the name that Craig's family registered their cows under. It is a blend of his grandparents names, Mildred and Ambrose.  It seemed the logical choice when we were looking for a kennel name.

We are a small show, hobby kennel whose dogs are pets first and foremost.  They live in the house and sleep on the couch and occasionally we may have litter.  When we do breed, our goal is to raise our puppies as naturally as possible.  We feed and wean to a natural raw diet and vaccinate as minimally as possible. 

We want not only a sound temperament but dogs that can also do the job that their breed was intended to do.  We are looking for longevity and health, beautiful type and intelligence. Located in New Hampshire, we are members in good standing of  The Yankee Golden Retriever Club, The Northeast Flat Coated Retriever Club and The Flat Coated Retriever Society of America, and The Golden Retriever Club U.K. and the Golden Retriever Club of America.  Our goal is to improve the breeds that we love, making them healthier and stronger so that they can live long,  happy lives.
